TOMMY LEE Goes To Nebraska
October 4, 2004Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has reportedly been accepted by a Lincoln, NE university, where he will shortly begin filming his reality series centered on his enrollment in college. Lee is set to arrive in Lincoln in two weeks and shooting will last for five weeks, according to a local media report (presumably with a short break in between so that Lee could embark on his book-signing tour for his upcoming tell-all, "Tommyland"). Lee has reportedly signed up for biology, chemistry, and two English classes so far. The NBC TV half-hour unscripted comedy, in which cameras will follow Lee's every move, is being executive-produced by Eddie October ("Bands Reunited", "Wanda Does It") and Lee, with Carl Stubner co-producing. The still-untitled show is currently in development and does not yet have a premiere date.
